| GENERAL HUNTING INFORMATION |

| Caliber:The ideal caliber for our region is: .375 H&H; 9,3 x 62; |
| 338 WM / Lapua Magnum; 30.06 |

| Ammunition: We recommend that you take a minimum of 40 bullets of ammunition |
| of, e.g. Nosler Partition, Swift A Frame, Barnes X, Bear claw, Failsafe, Trophybonded |
| |
| Binoculars:Take a pair of good quality binoculars, preferably of light weight, |
|
e.g. 8 x 30, 7 x 40, 10 x 40 |
| |
| Clothing: |

For the hunt: We suggest taking comfortable, but strong clothing of a darker |
| |
colour, e.g. olive green. One pair of comfortable, sturdy, worn in half boots or |
| |
shoes is recommended. |

Summer: (October – March) It can get hot: Do not forget a hat and |
| |
sunscreen lotion! |

Winter: (May – August) In the mornings and evenings it can get very cold (up to |
| |
-8°C at night), although it warms up in daytime (up to 25°C) |

| Laundry: We provide a daily laundry service. |
| |
| Tips: Gratuities for hunting guides, trackers etc. should be after consulting your host. |
| |
| Medical precautions: We are not in a Malaria- risk area However please consult |
| your doctor for advice on prophylaxis. |

| Bird hunting: Seasonal, only if time permits, at the end of the hunt |

| We are members of the Namibia Professional Hunting association (Napha) and are |
| registered at the Namibian Tourism Board (NTB). |
| |
| The trophies are measured according to the SCI standards, and for those interested, |
| medals can be obtained from Napha for exceptional trophies. |
| |
| To enter Namibia, a compulsory Firearm Import Permit has to be filled in. Please also ensure that your passport is valid more than 6 months from arrival date. For most European & Scandinavian Countries no Tourist visa is needed for Namibia. When you book your flight with Air Namibia, remember to say, that you are a hunter to qualify for an extra luggage allowance. |
